My name is Joséphin Bastière, and I am an artist and author. My work has developed around an artistic movement that I discovered and defined myself.
This movement is called “HyperBrut Art”.

Through this artistic movement, I create drawings, paintings, and writing, as well as installations and performances.
I’m originally from Paris, and my path quickly turned toward art right after I graduated from high school, through life drawing classes. I then pursued a more academic and theoretical approach at the University of Buenos Aires in the visual arts department, followed by the Toulouse School of Fine Arts.
Having recently settled in Perpignan, I continue my artistic practice under the Catalan sun, which brings new light to my art.
